Todd Terje - Live From Secretsundaze, London

King of the re-edit Norwegian spacecadet Todd Terje put on a fine show when he played at London's Secretsundaze earlier this year. The set was captured by Red Bull Academy Radio and sits alongside several other fine TT mixes on their site.

Following on from their superb Ze Records 30th Anniversary retrospective, the ever-excellent Strut Records have commissioned some smoking Ze re-edits from some of the biggest names around. Highlights include respected disco editist Greg Wilson's tweak of Was (Not Was)'s 'Tell Me That I'm Dreamin', Todd Terje's sublime re-working of Gichy Dan's 'Friendly Children' and a wicked dubbed-up version of Kid Creole's 1982 smash 'Annie, I'm Not You're Daddy'. Chic - I Want Your Love (Todd Terje Re-Edit)

One man groove machine, the incomparable Nile Rodgers, turned up in Bryan Ferry's backing band in ole London Town last week.

I could wax lyrical for hours on the great man's contribution and overall aceness but that would be, well, boring.

Better to leave you with one of his band Chic's finest moments here presented in Todd Terje's (looking forward to the next re-edit, Todd!) sublime re-edited form :)
