Tom Neville and Serge Santiago AKA Italo Electrodiscoists Retro/Grade had the responisibility of delivering Radio 1's first Essential mix of the new year and they did so in some style! With stunning home-made edits sitting alongside fresh new cuts (including previews of tracks from their forthcoming debut LP), R/G have set the bar high for '11 with a slamming eclectic mix.  Also included is their superb first single, Moda which despite being nearly 2 years old is still sounding as fantastic as ever.

Credit To Ze Edit

Following on from their superb Ze Records 30th Anniversary retrospective, the ever-excellent Strut Records have commissioned some smoking Ze re-edits from some of the biggest names around. Highlights include respected disco editist Greg Wilson's tweak of Was (Not Was)'s 'Tell Me That I'm Dreamin', Todd Terje's sublime re-working of Gichy Dan's 'Friendly Children' and a wicked dubbed-up version of Kid Creole's 1982 smash 'Annie, I'm Not You're Daddy'.
