Shriekback - My Spine Is The Bassline

Listening to the new LCD Soundsystem album today (it's a good 'un btw) got me thinking how the post-punk/punkfunk era is still resonating with bands today. A great example of such punk-funk brilliance is Shriekback's 1982 classic My Spine Is The Bassline whose echoes can still be felt today (and on a couple of the LCD tracks!).

Rising stars London's Tape To Tape have just released a rather splendid slice of disco magic in the shape of new single 'The Devil Made Me Do It', on Headman's Relish label .
